Hello! My name is Petra and I am a licensed guide from Vela Luka, a small town located on the island of Korcula. I was born and raised here, but when I turned 19 I moved to a bigger city to pursue my studies. Living away from home made me realize how unique it is to grow up in a small island community. As a journalist by profession, I have always been passionate about storytelling, and so I started writing a blog to share some of the fascinating stories from my hometown with others. Now, I would love to share some of those island stories with you.
My passion is history, so the tour is a mixture of ethnography, archeology, and contemporary subjects, all wrapped in memorable stories to help you feel and understand the local community better
